Hall effect gear sensor is a kind of product to exact measure the movement of titanium by hall IC with bias magnet. Special designed Hall IC, signal converting circuit and bias magnet are sealed in probe form with waterproof case. The sensor can work under power voltage between 3.5V to 30V DC, it outputs stable high and low level signals ( it can also connect into sink current digital output, that is open collector form). Built-in standard reverse voltage protection, if the power is inadvertent reverse connection, the sensor won't be damaged.
Whether the Hall effect sensor can reach the best operation states is related to the following factors, and we must take all factors into consideration.
The material, shape and speed of the target project.
The gap between sensor and target project.
The magnet's material when it's closing
Induction type ferromagnetic target objet
Output stable high and low level signals
Compared with electromagnetic sensor, it has better Signal to noise ration, excellent low speed function, the amplitude has nothing to do with the rotation speed.
High speed response speed is large than 100kHz. ( It's related to the target)
